Heliostrom was started in Chennai by PonnalKeppan and Viveak because they kept seeing the same problem — homeowners and factory owners who wanted to go solar but couldn't find an installer they felt comfortable trusting with a long-term decision.
The technology was proven. The economics worked. TANGEDCO net metering was active. But most solar companies were selling first and engineering second. Customers were getting systems sized wrong, prices that changed after signing, and no support once the installation was done.
That's the problem Heliostrom was built to solve. An engineering-first solar company — transparent about costs, honest about what a roof can and can't support, and present for the full 25-year life of the system.
